Background
One of the roles of Higher Education through Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi is conducting community service programs. The service activities need to be disseminated so that they can be known and can be utilized by the community. For this reason, a National Seminar on Community Service Dissemination was held by the SMONAGENES Study Center in collaboration with LPPM Universitas Brawijaya.
We hope that this seminar can be a forum that is able to produce innovative ideas / ideas to develop community service activities so that later they can become partners for local governments in developing their potential.
The seminar took the theme “Working Serving for the Community” so that we received all the dedication / research work to the community that you / the lecturer / researcher did from various cross-disciplinary fields which would later be disseminated in the form of oral presentations and posters. The national seminar on dissemination of community service in 2018 is an activity held by the University of Brawijaya’s SMONAGENES Study Center (Smart Molecule of Natural Genetic Resources) under the auspices of LPPM UB. This activity was held so that it became a means for lecturers / researchers to disseminate the results of the implementation of innovative community service to the public. Similar seminar activities are planned to be held regularly every year. The output of the national seminar on dissemination of community service in 2018 is in the form of online abstracts so that it can be known and utilized by the academic community and society in general. The scope of activities includes all the results of community service research conducted by lecturers / researchers from various cross-disciplinary fields who will later be disseminated in the form of oral presentations and posters in accordance with the community service group.
